Bills Meet With Two SEC Standouts in Pre-Draft Top-30 Visits

This week, the Buffalo Bills brought in Tennessee receiver Jalin Hyatt and South Carolina defensive tackle Zacch Pickens for top-30 pre-draft visits.

The Buffalo Bills are looking for depth and ways to improve on a premature end to the 2022 season. They'll be looking to the upcoming NFL Draft from Kansas City to help with that.

This week, the Bills brought in Tennessee receiver Jalin Hyatt and South Carolina defensive tackle Zacch Pickens for top-30 pre-draft visits, per theScore.com.

Hyatt won the Bleitnikoff Award as the nation's top collegiate wideout, catching 67 passes for 1,267 yards and 25 touchdowns last season in Knoxville. At the NFL Scouting Combine, Hyatt ran a 4.40 40-yard dash.

In 43 games over the last four seasons at South Carolina, Pickens registered 131 tackles, 11.5 tackles for loss and 7.5 sacks. In 2022, Pickens totaled 42 tackles, four for loss and 2.5 sacks.

The Bills select at No. 27 in the first round and No. 59 in the second round.

Buffalo currently has nine WRs under contract, with Stefon Diggs, Deonte Harty, Khalil Shakir, and Gabe Davis eating up the most cap money at the position. The Bills would always like to get cheaper and deeper in that room and the way to that is through the draft.

The same can be said of the defensive tackle position. Ed Oliver, DaQuan Jones and Tim Settle are solid there, but Buffalo could always get deeper and cheaper.

Pickens and Hyatt could be pieces to help.
