Bills Near Top of Post-Super Bowl Power Rankings
The Buffalo Bills had to sit and watch as their AFC rival Kansas City Chiefs took home the Lombardi Trophy once again with a 38-35 win over the Philadelphia Eagles in Super Bowl LVII on Sunday.
But the Bills, despite having their 13-3 campaign end with a forgettable 27-10 loss to the Cincinnati Bengals in the AFC Divisional, remain projected to be one of the NFL's best teams next season.
CBS Sports released its post-Super Bowl power rankings on Tuesday and has the Bills among the league's elite at No. 4 while having this say about the improvements Buffalo needs to make to get over the hump:
They have to get better in a few areas, including pass rush, pass protection and they need another receiver. They can't ask Josh Allen to do it all.
Here's the top 10:
No. 1 Kansas City Chiefs
No. 2 Philadelphia Eagles
No. 3 Cincinnati Bengals
No. 4 Buffalo Bills
No. 5 San Francisco 49ers
No. 6 Dallas Cowboys
No. 7 Jacksonville Jaguars
No. 8 Los Angeles Chargers
No. 9 New York Giants
No. 10 Baltimore Ravens
After an emotional season full of colossal twists and turns, the Bills will have a chance to regather themselves with some burning motivation. But the expectations remain the same, as Buffalo walks into an offseason that will continue to generate a Super Bowl-or-bust approach.
