Bills QB Josh Allen Made Playoff History in Win vs. Steelers
Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen helped power his team to a 31-17 AFC Wild Card win over the Pittsburgh Steelers on Monday, setting up a Divisional Round battle with Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday at Highmark Stadium.
But on his way to a memorable day against Pittsburgh, Allen also made some postseason history.
Per an announcement from the Bills on social media, Allen became the first player in playoff history to throw three or more touchdowns while also rushing for 70+ yards and a touchdown in a playoff game.
Allen finished the win 21 of 30 passing for 203 yards, three touchdowns and no picks. He added eight carries for 74 yards and another score, which was highlighted by his 52-yard scamper to the end zone in the second quarter to give the Bills a 21-0 lead.
Overall, Allen accounted for all four of Buffalo's touchdowns.
