Bills BREAKING: Stefon Diggs Back in Action at Mandatory Minicamp
That didn't take long.
After it seemed like the Buffalo Bills would be headed toward an offseason of endless drama due to the absence of their star receiver at the start of mandatory minicamp on Tuesday, Stefon Diggs helped quiet tons of doubt by showing up to the practice field on Wednesday.
The Bills' official Twitter account made sure everyone saw that he was in attendance, as Diggs was seen tossing the rock with fellow receiver Gabe Davis and chatting it up with quarterback Josh Allen.
All attention was focused on Diggs following Tuesday's session. The likes of Allen and linebacker Von Miller were bombarded with questions regarding his absence. Coach Sean McDermott even called the situation "very concerning," but there now appears to have been at least some sort of resolve for whatever Diggs was upset about.
Both Miller and Allen made their support of Diggs clear despite the confusion.
"Internally, we’re working on some things," Allen said. "Not football related. But you know Stef. He’s my guy. I f**** love him. He’s a brother of mine.“
"I'm on Stef's side," Miller said. "I feel like the little stuff that we've seen in the media about him is certainly not true. It wouldn't be a Von Miller here with the Buffalo Bills without Stef."
There remains tons of questions, ones that Diggs will certainly be showered with when he eventually speaks to the media for the first time since the end of last season. But for now, Bills Mafia can rest a bit easier knowing one of the team's most important pieces is back wearing his helmet and No. 14 jersey.
