Bills Coach Reveals How Stefon Diggs 'Builds Foundation' for WRs

Stefon Diggs' impact has been felt throughout the Buffalo Bills' wide receiver room at training camp.

For all of the noise that surrounded Buffalo Bills receiver Stefon Diggs after he was reportedly at odds with the team during OTAs in June, things appear to be business as usual for him at training camp.

Bills second-year offensive coordinator Ken Dorsey spoke to the media on Wednesday and noted Diggs' impact throughout the training camp thus far and how it has helped his teammates at receiver.

"He's done a great job," Dorsey said. "At this point, it's building the foundation with the new guys that are now here of what he's all about. From a practice standpoint and being out here every day emulates what you want your guys to be about. He comes out every single rep, works hard and wants to be in every single rep. He really lays a foundation for that room in terms of work ethic, [and] in terms of the energy that he brings."

That work ethic has turned Diggs into one of the best receivers in football. The three-time Pro Bowler and All-Pro pass-catcher had 108 catches for 1,429 yards and a career-high 11 touchdowns. In Diggs' three seasons with Buffalo, he's accumulated 338 catches for 4,189 yards and 29 touchdowns.

If the Bills are going to stay atop a more competitive AFC East, they'll need Diggs to replicate his production from the last three seasons and other receivers like Gabe Davis to step up. If the start of training camp is any indication, Diggs and that group seem to be up to the task.
