Stefon Diggs Addresses Bills 'Family Issues' at Training Camp
After a drama-filled offseason, Buffalo Bills receiver Stefon Diggs kept things open and candid when speaking to the media for the first time since last season at the start of training camp on Wednesday.
But in the 20-minute time frame he spoke to reporters, it was the way he addressed the matter on a human, personal and relatable level that seemed to do the best job at providing a better understanding of the differences he and the Bills have had since last season.
"If anybody has a family here, everybody has family issues, everybody has family problems in the house," Diggs said.
NFL stars get placed under a huge microscope, causing many fans of the game to jump to conclusions despite hardly knowing all the facts. Diggs painting the picture this way makes his rift with the Bills more understandable, even though we may never know what truly went down.
Regardless, it's "water under the bridge."
"We had a conversation, everything, all is well, water under the bridge, now we back at work," Diggs said. "I look at football, it's kind of hard, it's a business at the end of the day, but when you go out there and you fight tooth and nail, you put a lot of sweat equity into this thing, it starts to feel like a family."
With the season right around the corner, it appears safe to say that no feud will be stopping the Bills from working toward their goal of winning the first Super Bowl in franchise history.
