Bills vs. Chiefs Divisional Round: How to Watch, Betting Odds
The Bills will host the Chiefs in the latest chapter of the rivalry, but this time it's different. For the first time in his career, Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes will play a road playoff game.
Mahomes has never lost in five tries in divisional playoff games - all at Arrowhead Stadium. Sunday will be his first attempt outside of Kansas City.
Mahomes is, however, undefeated at Highmark Stadium. He won his only game played there, but it was in front of zero Bills fans during the Coronavirus season of 2020. Mahomes and the Chiefs have also ended Buffalo's season in two of the past three years.
Bills quarterback Josh Allen shook off some early-season poor play to put together a stellar campaign, and he'll be asked to carry a heavy load to counter a defense that could be missing pieces.
McDermott Gives Injury Update on Bills Punter
Allen is fresh off a zero turnover, four-touchdown game that included a franchise-best 52-yard touchdown scramble. In two playoff losses against the Chiefs, the Bills signal-caller has completed 55 of 85 passes for 616 yards, six touchdowns and one interception. He'll need a similar performance to earn the win on Sunday.
