Buffalo Bills vs. Miami Dolphins: How to Watch, Betting Odds
The Buffalo Bills welcome the Miami Dolphins to town on Sunday at Highmark Stadium with hopes of slowing down the high-powered offense. Bills coach Sean McDermott resorted to practice squad player Andy Isabella to help the scout team simulate the speed of the Dolphins' offense during practice this week.
“There’s only so many guys to go around to run as fast we need them to run to just simulate the speed,” McDermott said. "It’s unique.”
McDermott references the Miami offense that rung up 70 points last week against the Denver Broncos. This becoming one that ignites real fear, featuring players that have achieved the five fastest speeds on the field this season per Next Gen Stats. Rookie running back De’Von Achane ranks first and fifth after topping out at 21.93 mph against the Broncos on Sunday, while wideout Tyreek Hill made the list twice, and running back Raheem Mostert once.
But the Bills also possess an offense that can score points quickly. Buffalo has a total of 75 points in two victories this season after flopping in the opening game against the Jets. Not to be outdone, the Bills' defense forced five turnovers against the Washington Commanders in Week 3 while registering nine sacks.
“At the end of the day, we’re just trying to win a football game. If it’s by putting up 40 or putting up four, we’re just trying to go out there and play complementary football,” Bills quarterback Josh Allen said.
