Bills vs. Steelers Preseason: How to Watch, Betting Odds
The Buffalo Bills head south to Pittsburgh to face the Steelers at Acrisure Stadium in Game 2 of the preseason for each team. The Steelers are coming off an exhibition win against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in preseason Week 1, while the Bills beat the Colts.
The lineup and depth chart for the preseason tilt against the Steelers should be almost identical to the same one Bills coach Sean McDermott approved before the win over the Colts. McDermott is still undecided on who will play second fiddle to Josh Allen at quarterback as Kyle Allen and Matt Barkley both remain in contention. Both Allen and Barkley could see time against Pittsburgh.
McDermott announced on Thursday that Allen and the rest of the team's starters will play on Saturday for "about a quarter and a half."
"It's to get them ready for the season," McDermott said. "We took a little bit of a different approach last year. This year, we're going back to what we've somewhat done in the years past ... Just trying to do right by the players and getting them ready to go for Week 1."
The Steelers have several positions up for grabs this preseason as a lot of players are trying to make their case to be included on a roster that could see a lot of turnover in the coming weeks. Pittsburgh isn't necessarily in rebuild mode, but it certainly needs improvement in a lot of areas on both offense and defense.
