O.J. Simpson Cites 'The Donald' Trump In Cancer Revelation at Super Bowl in Las Vegas

LAS VEGAS - O.J. Simpson is preparing to party here in Las Vegas at the Super Bowl while invoked the name of "The Donald'' Trump as a way of addressing reports that he might be in hospice care after undergoing chemotherapy for prostate cancer.

“Hey X world, hospice? Hospice? You talking about hospice?” the former Buffalo Bills superstar - controversially acquitted in 1995 of murdering his wife Nicole Brown Simpson and her friend Ron Goldman – said in a video posted to Twitter on Friday. “No, I’m not in any hospice. ...

"I don’t know who put that out there,” he added. “I guess it’s like 'The Donald' (Trump) says, ‘You can’t trust the media.''

Local 10 News reported on Friday, citing sources, that Simpson had been diagnosed with prostate cancer and was currently undergoing chemotherapy in Las Vegas. Simpson denied the "hospice'' report but it is worth nothing that in May 2023 he tweeted that "I unfortunately caught cancer.''

He said then, “So I had to do the whole chemo thing ... I’m over the chemo... I’m healthy now. It looks like I beat it – I’m happy about that.”

The Hall of Famer Simpson's often tone-deaf approach to social issues is seen by some an a sort of inappropriate attempt at comedy. He did that here in steering attention from his health to his party plans for The Big Game.

“In any event,'' Simpson said, "I’m hosting a ton of friends for the Super Bowl here in Las Vegas. All is well, you know. So take care, have a good Super Bowl weekend.”
