Antonio Brown Claims Tom Brady Cussed Out His Agent

Former Bucs’ wide receiver, Antonio Brown, opened up about his grievances with Tom Brady.

Former Tampa Bay Buccaneers' wide receiver, Antonio Brown, is once again in the news, but this time the all-pro wideout decided to air out the grievances he had with former Bucs' quarterback and mentor Tom Brady.

During a recent episode of the “Million Dollaz Worth of Game” podcast”, Brown discussed why his relationship with Brady came crashing down following the greatest quarterback of all-time supposedly cursed out Brown’s agent over negotiations surrounding the latter's contract following the team's 2020 run to Super Bowl Champions.

“My agent, Ed Wasielewski, is getting called, cursed out by Tom Brady over why is he pushing back for the contract for scraps. Imagine if you heard that, the same guy that brought you in to win a ring, the same agent he told you to hook up with to get the deal, is not telling me, the guy’s calling him, saying, yo, cursing him out about scraps of a contract.”

Brown arrived in Tampa Bay shortly after Tom Brady arrived in 2020, giving the star wide receiver another shot in the league. The two quickly formed a rapport together and led the team to its second-ever Super Bowl victory. Two months following the Super Bowl win, Brown signed a one-year deal worth up to $6.25 million, including $3.1 in guaranteed money.

“I give everyone their props from a team standpoint, as far as the team, but you know, we all got our own agendas in the midst of the team,” Brown said. “So when you’re an older player, you getting deals like that, you feel like, and I’m telling, my agent’s telling me already before the season that this guy, who he hooked me up with, is calling him, cussing him out about the contract.”

Brown started the season with the Buccaneers that year, but by the end of the season, he was no longer a part of the organization as he infamously shed his pads and left the field in typical AB fashion in the Bucs' game against the New York Jets.

That incident derived from the idea that Brown suggested the team forced him to continue playing through an injury. Those statements were quickly refuted by then head coach Bruce Arians.

Since leaving the team, Brown has been hyper-critical of the Buccaneers and Tom Brady - with the most recent occasion coming when Brown took aim at Brady for his recent divorce from supermodel Gisele Bundchen.
