He finished the game 19/37 with 205 yards and an interception, by far his worst outing of the season.

While it was not his throwing hand, that kind of injury complicates the down-to-down operations of being a quarterback like snapping and handing the ball off.

Mayfield confirmed to the media after the loss on Sunday that he did have an x-ray on his hand and it came back negative.

During Wednesday's practice, he came out for warmups and had his left hand and wrist wrapped up, but appeared to move fine. At the end of warmups, he even threw one of his snaps with his left hand.

After practice on Wednesday, Baker Mayfield spoke to the media and confirmed that he will be ready to play against the Falcons on Sunday.

When asked about his hand in the media session after practice he said his hand was "golden" and did not seem worried about his availability for Sunday vs Atlanta.
