The Buccaneers have had a myriad of primetime games since the arrival of Tom Brady three seasons ago. The Bucs were regulars when it came to nationally televised games during the Brady era, but now that Brady has "officially" retired there were assumptions that the Bucs' ability to garner primetime games would dwindle and boy did it.

The Buccaneers will only play two games that will be on primetime television in 2023. The first comes against the Philadelphia Eagles and the second comes with another Super Bowl contender in the Buffalo Bills as the Bucs will head to New York in late October on Thursday Night Football.

The Bills have consistently come into recent seasons with tons of promise and hype that they could possibly reach the Super Bowl and even win it. That will be no different this season as the Bills once again will post one of the top rosters - top to bottom - in the league led by quarterback Josh Allen.

The Buccaneers replaced a ton in terms of the coaching staff and players and will be working in a new offensive system with a new quarterback. Things may start off rocky for Tampa Bay, but if somehow they are able to have a respectable record come halfway through their schedule then this matchup could end up being a good one.

The Buccaneers and Bills have faced off against each other twelve times all-time with the Bucs owning the record going 8-4 against them. The last time these two faced one another was in 2021 which saw the Buccaneers come away with a close victory, winning 33-27 on their way to the NFC Championship game.
