Detroit Lions Running Back Gives Strong Statement Regarding Bucs' Vita Vea
While some players on the Detroit Lions team are talking trash, others are giving the Tampa Bay Buccaneers their flowers. The latest comes from rookie running back Jahmyr Gibbs, who recalls seeing him on the sideline in the team's Week 6 matchup.
"Oh Sh*t, when I seen him on the sidelines.. he's big," Gibbs said. He's big as hell. He's good. He's really good. I respect him."
Gibbs didn't play in that game due to injury but has had an electric start to his career. The first-rounder helped anchor the league's number two rush offensive by rushing for 945 yards and 10 touchdowns. The explosive back added another 316 yards through the air on 52 receptions and reached pay dirt once.

Vea wasn't fully healthy in Week 6 dealing with a pectoral injury but he can take over games when he is. The Buccaneers are hoping he'll do just that this weekend, shutting down a vaunted rushing attack in their Divisional round m
