Former Buccaneers' Super Bowl Winning Wide Receiver Signs with NFC South Rival
Former Tampa Bay Buccaneers' wide receiver, Scotty 'Scooter' Miller, signed a one-year deal to stay in the NFC South with the Atlanta Falcons, per Adam Schefter.
Miller, who was drafted in the 6th-round of the 2019 NFL Draft by the Buccaneers after a trade with the Eagles, will now join a Falcons offense that will be led by second-year quarterback Desmond Ridder and features Drake London, Kyle Pitts, Mack Hollins, and Tyler Allgeier. As of the current Falcons' depth chart, 'Scooter' is slated to be the team's starting slot wideout.
After being drafted out of Bowling Green University, Scotty Miller spent the first four seasons of his NFL career with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers compiling 74 receptions for 924 and 4 touchdowns while adding another 81 yards rushing and a touchdown.

Miller's best season came during the Buccaneers' Super Bowl run in 2020 when he posted 33 receptions for 501 yards and three touchdowns. According to Greg Auman of FOX Sports, Miller was the Buccaneers' leading wide receiver for the first half of their Super Bowl winning season.
Miller was overshadowed for much of his Buccaneers' career, thanks to the depth the Bucs' had at the position, but came through during clutch moments and may best be remembered for his touchdown catch at the end of the first half of the NFC Championship game against the Green Bay Packers in 2020.
The Buccaneers' wide receiver depth will take a hit come 2023 unless they make some other moves in free agency or the draft, but will still be headlined by Mike Evans, Chris Godwin, and Russell Gage.
