Cowboys Favorite to Land 7-Time Pro Bowl Wide Receiver From Buccaneers

The former Buccaneers' wide receiver could be headed to the Dallas Cowboys.

We are currently deep in the world of NFL free agency craziness and there are a few former Buccaneers' starters that are favored to land elsewhere finding their new homes. One of those names from last year's roster in Tampa is Julio Jones. 

The 7-time Pro Bowl wide receiver joined the Tampa Bay Buccaneers signing a one-year contract going into training camp to team up with Tom Brady. It rose a lot of excitement with those two officially being paired together to execute a successful connection with one another hopefully. The season didn't go as planned offensively for both players but at least we saw a few big plays being made between the both in Tampa.

In a recent release by Oddschecker, the Dallas Cowboys are favored to land Jones during free agency this offseason heading into the 2023 season. It makes sense certainly with the Cowboys needing receiver help with the two CeeDee Lamb and Dalton Schultz carrying the load on the receiving end. 

Jones put together an underwhelming season while dealing with injuries throughout 2022 totaling 24 receptions on 43 targets and 299 receiving yards finishing off with two touchdowns. To be fair, he was joining a crowded room with already a lot of production potential with the likes of Mike Evans and Chris Godwin but all together, not an impressive 2022 season for the veteran.
