Future Hall of Famer J.J. Watt Gives Mike Evans His Flowers: "We Should Appreciate His Game"

Future Hall of Famer J.J. Watt gave his thoughts on Bucs' WR Mike Evans Wednesday on the Pat McAfee Show.

This past Sunday, Tampa Bay Buccaneers' wide receiver Mike Evans reached another milestone in his illustrious career by recording his 10th straight 1,000-yard receiving season - the same number of seasons that he has been in the league.

The milestone sets him just one season away from tying Jerry Rice's record of 11 straight seasons with 1,000 yards and will place him just three more seasons of that production from tying Rice's record of 14 total seasons of 1,000 receiving yards.

The consistency and level of play that Evans has exemplified is really unheard of in today's NFL and many of those who have followed Mike, including his peers, recognize what he has done and place him as one of the best wide receivers in the game even though he remains one of the most underrated and unappreciated players in the league.

In a recent appearance on the Pat McAfee Show, former Houston Texan legend and future Hall of Fame defensive end, J.J. Watt, expressed the greatness that is before us in what Mike Evans has been able to accomplish and continues to do.

Getting flowers from a player of J.J. Watt's caliber is definitely an honor and should be heralded as words that should be listened to.

Watt called Evans a future first-ballot Hall of Famer while going onto say he shouldn't be underrated and that we "should appreciate his game because it's pretty special what he's doing at the highest level".

Watt and the guys associated with the Pat McAfee Show also pointed to the fact that Evans has been able to have this level of productiveness despite not always having a top-tier quarterback at his disposal, making the achievements even that more noteworthy of our appreciation.
