How to Watch Lions vs. Buccaneers: Kickoff Time, TV Channel and Odds

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers (3-1) are coming off their bye week and play host to the visiting Detroit Lions (4-1).

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers will not have played a game in two weeks when their game against the visiting Detroit Lions kicks off this Sunday at 4:25 ET after having off week five due to their bye week.

These two teams are both on an upward trajectory and sit respectively at the top of their NFC divisions. The Lions have been building up to this point for years and the Buccaneers have exceeded the low expectations placed on them to begin the season.

BucsGameday Staff Score Predictions: Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs. Detroit Lions

Detroit boasts one of the more lethal offenses in the league with the likes of Jared Goff, David Montgomery, Sam LaPorta, and Amon-Ra St. Brown and it will be imperative for the Buccaneers to throw off the balanced attack that is called by OC Ben Johnson. The Buccaneers will look to dominate the line of scrimmage, stopping the run to try and force Goff into passing situations more often than he would like to, and with a defensive roster that is seemingly back to 100% health that should come to fruition.

The Lions' defense has improved majorly since last year and will look to replicate much of what the Eagles were able to do by turning over the Buccaneers' offense. Dave Canales and the Bucs' offense will look to remain balanced on offense by getting the running game going early and often to open up the play-action passing game for Baker Mayfield. Something to keep an eye on as we approach kick will be the availability of WR Mike Evans.

The Buccaneers and Lions have faced off against one another 59 times with the Lions barely holding on to the series lead 31-29. The last time the two faced off was during the Buccaneers' Super Bowl run that saw the Bucs come away with a convincing 47-7 victory in Detroit.
