Las Vegas Raiders Owner Comments on Tom Brady’s Addition to the Franchise
Tom Brady will be sticking around football in more ways than one as he moves forward into the next chapter of his storied career. Arguably the greatest quarterback of all time, he previously agreed to a ten-year/$375 million deal to join the broadcast booth for FOX.
Brady is continuing to expand his reach on the sport as he dips his toes into the ownership pool.

On Monday, reports broke that Brady agreed to become a minority owner of the Las Vegas Raiders. The move isn't expected to conflict with his upcoming duties for FOX that are scheduled to begin in 2024.
Raiders owner Mark Davis is excited for the NFL star to officially work with the franchise. The move is currently awaiting approval from the league, according to a statement Davis made to ESPN. Brady is only the third player in league history to become an owner.
“We have come to an agreement for Tom Brady to become a partner in the Raiders and we have submitted it to the NFL for approval," Davis said. "We’re excited for Tom to join the Raiders.”
This isn't the only business venture that Brady is involved with in Sin City. He's already working with Davis as a minority owner for the WNBA's Las Vegas Aces. Brady previously joined an ownership group for an expansion team in Major League Pickleball.
He's displayed an interest in owning a stake in an NFL team in the past. The Miami Dolphins were previously fined $1.5 million and stripped of their 2023 first-round pick following an investigation into allegations that they tampered with Brady. The league concluded that the Dolphins had multiple conversations with Tom Brady from 2019 to 2022, which included discussions about him joining the franchise as a limited partner.
Las Vegas has a ton of faces that Brady is familiar with from his time in New England. Former Patriots offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels is entering his second season as head coach while former Patriots executive Dave Ziegler is currently the General Manager. As far as players on the roster, Brady played alongside quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo, quarterback Brian Hoyer, running back Brandon Bolden, wide receiver Jakobi Meyers, wide receiver Phillip Dorsett, and defensive end Chandler Jones.
Brady suited up for 23 seasons in the NFL with his first two decades coming with the Patriots before spending his final three seasons with the Buccaneers. He completed 7753/12,050 passes for 89,214 yards with 649 touchdown passes to 99 interceptions. A seven-time Super Bowl Champion, Brady is one of the most decorated players of all time.
