NFL Draft: Buccaneers Guide to Scouting Combine Coverage

With the biggest scouting event of the year beginning this week, Tampa Bay Buccaneers fans have plenty to look out for.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are expected to make improvements to their offensive and defensive lines this offseason, and could even make impactful changes in the secondary due to potential losses and lack of depth. 

Comfortability with their draft board will impact how the Bucs attack free agency and re-sign their players while negotiating around one of the worst salary cap situations in the NFL today. 

With the NFL Scouting Combine taking place this week, the final stages of draft preparation are beginning, and the offseason strategy is nearly set. 

Here's what to look out for this week as the NFL takes over Indianapolis.

Tuesday, February 28th

Tampa Bay general manager press conference at 12:15 p.m.

Buccaneers coach Todd Bowles press conference at 1 p.m.

No player interviews or drills.

Wednesday, March 1st

The defensive line and linebacker media interviews run from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m.

No player drills.

Thursday, March 2nd

The defensive backs and specialists conduct media interviews beginning at 9:30 a.m. and ending at noon.

Defensive line and linebacker drills in Lucas Oil Stadium from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. broadcast on NFL Network and on the NFL+ Streaming App.

Friday, March 3rd

The quarterbacks, receivers, and tight ends conduct media interviews from 8-11:30 a.m.

Defensive backs and specialists complete workouts from 3-8 p.m.

Saturday, March 4th

Beginning at 8 a.m. offensive linemen and running backs conduct media interviews until 11:30 a.m.

The quarterbacks, receivers, and tight ends work out from 1 p.m. until 8 p.m.

Sunday, March 5th

Offensive linemen and running backs begin their drills at 1 p.m. and will conclude around 7 p.m. on the final day of combine workouts.

No player interviews.
