Patriots Welcoming Tom Brady Back During 2023 Season Home Opener

The former Buccaneers' quarterback will reunite with the team that drafted him 2000.

It has been over three months now since former Buccaneers' quarterback Tom Brady announced his official retirement from the NFL. Since then Tampa Bay has added two new quarterbacks to accompany Kyle Trask on their roster with Baker Mayfield and John Wolfrod

On Thursday morning, the New England Patriots announced that they will be honoring their former superstar and legend quarterback during their 2023 home opener. We don't know exactly when that will be or the opponent the Patriots will be playing during that event but you'd expect it to be a primetime game on the schedule.

Patriots' owner Robert Kraft revealed the plans to honor Brady on the Good Morning Football Show.

“The greatest player in the history of the game played right here in Foxboro, and I’m happy to tell you…I invited him back to come here and be with us at the opening game.”

A special moment for Brady and his family in Foxboro as he'll receive the recognition he deserves after an incredible run in New England. Now the question is will this be a standalone primetime game?

Home opponents for New England in 2023 are Bills, Chiefs, Dolphins, Jets, Chargers, Saints, Eagles, and Commanders. Now which one of those will the NFL put on primetime to showcase the honoring of the best quarterback to ever do it? We shall see during the NFL schedule debut on Thursday night.
