Todd Bowles Confirms Three Starters Could Be OUT vs. Tennessee Titans

Tampa Bay Buccaneers Head Coach Todd Bowles spoke to the media regarding three different starters who could be out against the Tennesse Titans.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers defense was bad against the Texans on Sunday in their 39-37 loss. Rookie CJ Stroud put up historic numbers and sealed the win for Houston.

Carlton Davis struggled in that game, he allowed 7 catches for 112 yards and 3 TDs. His status will be in question vs Tennessee as he is dealing with a toe injury and missed practice on both Wednesday and Thursday.

On Friday he was dressed for the start of practice and Todd Bowles confirmed that he was on the practice field.

"He got some reps today, he's getting better, he'll be a game-time decision."

Opposite of Davis, Jamel Dean has been in the concussion protocol and has still not been cleared. If he and Davis are both out, Bowles noted who would start on the other side of Zyon McCollum.

He's still in the protocol, so he has to pass a few more tests to get ready to play Sunday. We have (Derrek) Pitts and (Keenan) Issac on standby and ready to go.

On the offensive side of the ball, left guard Matt Feiler has been injured since the Thursday night game vs Buffalo. In his place, Aaron Stinnie has stepped in and looked really good.

Bowles confirmed that Feiler is doubtful for the game.

When the media spoke to Offensive Coordinator Dave Canales he seemed comfortable with either player being at that left guard spot.

"In general, we don't like to say a guy loses his job due to injury, but it's a really hard decision for us right now because of how well Stinnie has played ... We have two good options there at left guard."
