Tom Brady Responds to Unretirement Rumors, Joining Miami Dolphins

Tom Brady wasted no time in addressing to the suggestion that he's eyeing a return to the NFL.

That didn't take long.

When Rich Eisen unveiled his list of the top-5 rumors he heard at the NFL Combine this past weekend, Tom Brady considering a return to football came in at #1.

As you would expect, this suggestion sent the sports media landscape into a bit of a frenzy. Fans and media personalities alike took to social media to express their opinions on the subject. As a result, there's a legitimate chance that a record number of eye roll emojis were used across all social media platforms over the past 24 hours.

Earlier today, Brady offered a public response to the rumor via his Twitter account, and as it turns out, the eye roll emoji was in fact the appropriate one to use.

The general public seems to enjoy consuming Brady gossip in a similar fashion to how Donovan Smith acquired holding penalties for the Bucs this past season — in abundance.

It appears as though Tom Brady wanted to set the record straight on this latest rumor before it got out of control. He even made sure to do so in a somewhat self-deprecating way, which is something Brady's followers have become accustomed to since he left the conservative confines of New England.

The best part about this particular post is that it isn't even a joke. Based on his recent social media activity, Brady has been taking full advantage of retired life. He's been busy enjoying travel, sporting events, animal adoptions, and the valuable family time that accompanies football-free fatherhood.
