Tom Brady Threatens Lawsuit Over AI-Generated Comedy Special

Tom Brady threatened comedians who created an AI-generated comedy special featuring an animated version of the quarterback with legal action.

Comedy comes in many different forms and is portrayed in a multitude of ways, but a newly generated AI comedy special - created by comedians Will Sasso and Chad Kultgen - created some buzz last week.

The comedians' hour-long special featured an animated version of former Buccaneers' quarterback Tom Brady telling jokes in a stand-up format. The special went viral, however, the actual greatest quarterback of all time, Brady himself did not think too highly of it.

According to Sasso and Kultgen, Brady and his team threatened legal action over the special just days after it was posted - forcing them to wipe it from the internet.

Sasso and Kultgen spoke about how they received a cease and desist letter from Brady's attorneys and discussed the situation as a whole on their podcast "Dudesy".

The comedians clearly thought the whole thing was hogwash during the taping of the episode, however, they did eventually decide to take the special down to further avoid any legal trouble or action from the GOAT.

Brady has retired from the game of football and has recently dabbled with comedy himself in '80 for Brady', but it appears that he would not like his image and likeness to be used by others. Brady could have something up his sleeve when it comes to pursuing something in the comedy realm, hence why he did not take the AI-generated special lightly.

For whatever reason, it is a miss. Seeing an AI-generated form of Brady performing stand-up comedy would be exciting, to say the least. Unfortunately, the mass amount of those who didn't get a chance to see it probably won't ever.
