VIDEO: Rachaad White Takes Baker Mayfield's Pass to End Zone to Extend Buccaneers Lead vs. Falcons

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are in a good position to hold onto their lead against the Falcons for an eventual win.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers led the Atlanta Falcons 12-10 at halftime. The game was tied at 10 points apiece before the Buccaneers eventually forced a safety, taking down Desmond Ridder in their own end zone.

Still, despite the Buccaneers having scored a touchdown, the defense was the focal point in the first half. They got the offense in scoring position for their lone first-half touchdown before forcing the safety to take a two-point lead.

Midway through the third quarter, both teams were struggling offensively. The Buccaneers and Baker Mayfield eventually found a bit of rhythm, covering on a couple of third down plays to extend their drive. After driving to the Falcons' side of the field, Mayfield found Rachaad White, who took the pass for a 31-yard touchdown reception.

With a 19-10 lead over the Falcons, the Buccaneers are in a prime position to finish the game with a win. A win would mean plenty for the Buccaneers' playoff push. They'd take reign as the top team in the NFC South, despite still having a losing record, and will take momentum into their next matchup.

Considering how this season has gone for the Buccaneers, it's wild to be talking playoff positioning and a Wild Card appearance doesn't seem all that far-fetched.
