Cardinals QB Kyler Murray Buys Dad New Whip

Arizona Cardinals QB Kyler Murray surprised his dad with a brand new car.

Arizona Cardinals QB Kyler Murray is ramping up to his eventual return to action in 2023, though nobody really knows when that will be.

Murray himself spoke with reporters last week and wasn't able to give a clear timetable despite recently saying on the team's "Flight Plan" YouTube series he wanted to return by Week 1 of the regular season.

"It's a great question. I have no answer for you, though. I take it one day at a time. Like I said, I don't have a timetable or whatever. But yeah, just taking it one day at a time," said Murray when asked how close he was to returning.

"Obviously me being the competitor I am, do I want to miss any time? No, it's not on my mind. But we're not even in August yet so I've taken it one day at a time."

Murray is one year removed from receiving a major payday after signing a five-year, $230.5 million deal to stay in Arizona last offseason.

Part of that money has already been put to good use, as Murray revealed on his Instagram page he purchased a brand new vehicle for his father yesterday:

Today also happens to be Murray's birthday. Happy birthday, Kyler!
