Exclusive Interview With Cardinals RB James Conner
PHOENIX -- The Arizona Cardinals are hosting Super Bowl LVII festivities, but perhaps not in the way they would have liked.
After a 4-13 season, everyone in the organization top to bottom will be enjoying the game at varying spots throughout the Valley.
Cardinals running back James Conner will be at Pepsi's Big Game Bash – an exclusive "locals-only" party during the big game at Walter Studios in Downtown Phoenix. Conner's giving away four tickets on his Instagram page with entries ending today on Feb. 9.

Below is an interview completed with Conner, thanks to the good people at Pepsi who allowed All Cardinals a moment with Arizona's RB1:
On how the offseason is going
"I'm doing well, bro. I'm doing well. Wish we was playing in this game coming up, but other than that, I'm healthy. Just looking forward to see everything that's next and hope it goes well."
On his relationship with Kansas City Chiefs WR JuJu Smith-Schuster
"We talk all the time still. I'm just super excited for him. He's still like a brother to me. He's playing in the big game. So you know, I'm just real excited for him you know, and I got people that I like on both teams that I got relationships with them. JuJu, I'm proud of everything he's accomplished and what he's doing out there in Kansas City, so everything's good."
On if he's been a local guide for friends and family visiting town for Super Bowl LVII
"Some people especially from Pittsburgh and who I played with before and anybody who comes out here from my area. If I got relationship with them, they always asking me for recommendations of where to eat."
On Arizona's "dry heat" being downplayed by locals here
"You right, you said it best man. That's the one that's like When it's like that outside, man it gets hectic. Coming from where we come from, you know, I don't know if you'll ever get used to it. It's real, real hot out there. Around this time of the year is perfect. So it's like you get through that brutal summer, you get a reward for the rest of the year."
On the business side of seeing changes every offseason
"That is strictly business. A lot of people just waiting to see what the end result is going be on Sundays, Mondays and Thursdays. But just what goes into it and sometimes things have to go in your favor. Down years, up years, this is a different league. It's a completely different team year in and year out. It's never the same, so the business side of it is just trying to handle your business, embracing the challenges and just understanding that it's never personal in the NFL, it's just things you go through and different teams [have] different needs. It's never personal, always business."
On pushing through challenges on and off the field
"After you get through challenges in life, you're rewarded with another challenge. That's just kind of how it goes. So it just gives you something to look forward to. That's why you're non-stop working. There's no end destination. You just give it your all every day and there's really no end, you just enjoy the journey."
On rumors surrounding Kyler Murray and DeAndre Hopkins
"Like they always say, control what you can control. I gotta make sure I'm at my A game at running back and just give what I can to this team. I would obviously love for Kyler and D-Hop and everybody else who could potentially [leave], whatever the case may be. I want to be with them but I can't control that, so all I can do is put my best foot forward."
On predictions for the Super Bowl
"I don't really got no predictions for the game. Like I said I got people I love on both sides. I got people I love and I played college ball with on the Eagles like Avonte Maddox. Then obviously playing with JuJu in the past and whatnot, so I'll just be enjoying that game, being with the locals enjoying that game."
