The Arizona Cardinals now look forward to the Kansas City Chiefs after defeating the Denver Broncos in their preseason opener.
In the NFL, teams (regardless of a win/loss) look to leave the past in the past on a weekly basis.
As for the Cardinals' social media team, that might be a bit hard.
After Arizona's exciting comeback win that ended in a score of 18-17, the Cardinals tweeted out a meme poking fun at Russell Wilson that gained nearly five million views before it was eventually taken down.
Utilizing the "not real" woman on an airplane, the video jokingly showed Wilson working out in the middle of an airplane aisle (a jab at him doing stretches and running on the team's international flight previously) with a caption encouraging the Broncos to enjoy the flight home.
The video received an enormous amount of backlash, though Pat McAfee says Arizona's social media team deserves a round of applause.
"The Arizona Cardinals social media team needs to be applauded for the way they wen about doing their business," said McAfee on his show before explaining the video, which he described as "very well done".
