Where Kyler Murray's Contract Ranks After Joe Burrow's Massive Extension

Arizona Cardinals QB Kyler Murray is now no longer a top-five paid quarterback after Joe Burrow's massive extension.

There's been plenty of talk surrounding Arizona Cardinals QB Kyler Murray and his contract as of late.

Last offseason, Murray inked a five-year, $230.5 million extension that saw him reach status of becoming the second-highest paid player on an annual basis (at the time). The contract came after a long offseason of drama and social media posts, which only grew after the infamous study clause was revealed.

Contracts are constantly growing in value, with each newcomer resetting the market for the next person. The league's consistent rise in the salary cap spending only furthers the massive paydays for quarterbacks and other prominent positions as well.

The latest beneficiary was Cincinnati Bengals QB Joe Burrow, whose ink is still dry on the five-year, $275 million deal that got done right at the buzzer before the season started.

Now that the dust has settled on Burrow's massive extension, let's evaluate where Murray stands in terms of quarterback contracts:
