Oddsmakers have already announced spreads for Week 3, and the Arizona Cardinals are massive underdogs to the Dallas Cowboys.

On SI Sportsbook, the Cowboys are favored by 12.5 points over Arizona, the second largest spread of Week 3 only behind a 13.5 point spread between the Kansas City Chiefs and Chicago Bears.

The Cowboys are playing some of the best football in the NFL right now, 2-0 and looking rather impressive through their first two games of the season. They rolled the New York Giants in 40-0 fashion to open their season before beating the New York Jets 30-10 on Sunday.

The Cardinals find themselves on the other side of the spectrum at 0-2 after two close games in which they held leads at halftime. Week 1 saw a 20-16 loss to the Washington Commanders and Week 2 ended in a 31-28 defeat to Giants.

"We've got to coach better. We got outplayed in the second half. A tale of two halves. We have to do a better job to help our guys out because the effort's there and the intensity is there—we've got to coach a little bit better," said Cardinals head coach Jonathan Gannon.

A bright spot for Arizona was their offense finally opened up under quarterback Josh Dobbs after not scoring a touchdown in the season opener.

"I thought the offense played well. We ran it. (QB Joshua) Dobbs I thought threw some good balls in there. Guys were getting open and catching it. We even had one good drive there in the second half, got some of the momentum back and then we couldn't get off the field, but I thought they played really well," Gannon said.

"They scored 28 points against a pretty good defense there. That's a good day."

For what it's worth, the Cardinals are 2-0 against the spread thus far after covering against the Commanders (7) and Giants (4.5). Dallas is also 2-0 thus far ATS.
