GLENDALE -- Ahead of their final week of training camp practices, Arizona Cardinals edge rusher BJ Ojulari could be hitting the field here at State Farm Stadium.

The team today announced they activated him off the PUP list, which he can't go back on again according to league rules

"The Arizona Cardinals Football Club today announced that the team has activated linebacker BJ Ojulari (knee) from the Physically Unable to Perform list (PUP)," read the short and sweet press release.

Ojulari - who was the final member of the Cardinals' 2023 NFL Draft class to sign his rookie deal - hasn't practiced for much of the offseason due to his knee injury.

The activation comes right in time for Ojulari - who thrived at getting after the quarterback at LSU - to play in the team's upcoming preseason game on Friday when the Denver Broncos come to town.

Thus far, Zaven Collins and a mixture of Cameron Thomas/Dennis Gardeck have logged snaps as outside linebackers in what appears to be a base 3-4 defense here in the desert.

Myjai Sanders is another candidate to play off the edge but has been sidelined with a hand injury during camp.

After losing guys such as Zach Allen, Markus Golden and J.J. Watt, the Cardinals utilized their second-round pick on Ojulari in hopes of eventually replacing their production.
