Kyler Murray, Others Questionable vs Eagles
ARIZONA -- The Arizona Cardinals have ruled out three players ahead of Week 17's road test against the Philadelphia Eagles, with four more questionable:
OUT - Marquise Brown (heel), Leki Fotu (hand) and Jonathan Ledbetter (knee)
Earlier this week, Cardinals coach Jonathan Gannon told reporters Ledbetter's season would be over following his knee injury. The team could potentially look to place him on IR tomorrow.
Fotu was activated from injured reserve this week, opening up his 21-day practice window. He can be activated at any time in that period though it appeared Arizona didn't feel he was ready.
Gannon also confirmed that Brown would land on injured reserve with his heel injury. More can be read about that below:
Why Cardinals Placed Marquise Brown on Injured Reserve
QUESTIONABLE - Kyler Murray (illness), Owen Pappoe (ankle), Bobby Price (quad) and Garrett Williams (knee)
Gannon sounded awfully confident that Murray would play, labeling him "good to go" this week despite the questionable status. He practiced for the first time all week on Friday.
Cardinals Get Good News on Kyler Murray
Pappoe saw his first taste of extended action last week after Josh Woods was placed on injured reserve.
If Price and Williams can't go, the Cardinals will rely on Antonio Hamilton, Starling Thomas and Kei'Trel Clark in the secondary.
