J.J. Watt on T.J. Watt's DPOY Snub: 'Boggles My Mind'

Former Arizona Cardinals EDGE J.J. Watt stuck up for his brother, T.J. Watt, after he was snubbed from Defensive Player of the Year honors.

ARIZONA -- The dust has settled on some major NFL events that have occured over the last week, ranging from the Super Bowl to Hall of Fame voting and NFL annual honors being handed out, too.

Among a few notable topics/takeaways from the biggest weekend in football was Cleveland Browns EDGE Myles Garrett winning NFL Defensive Player of the Year honors over Pittsburgh Steelers OLB T.J. Watt, despite Watt having the better numbers in nearly every major statistical category.

Older brother J.J. Watt - former Arizona Cardinals DE and three-time winner of the award himself - remained neutral after the award was announced.

Appearing on the Pat McAfee Show on Wednesday, Watt was again asked about the award, and he managed to let loose a little:

"I think the internet handled that properly. I think it was handled appropriately... that's what we're dealing with man," said Watt with a chuckle before being egged on by McAfee.

"You don't got to say everything. I've said all the stuff I've needed to say about it. ... I said what I wanted to say about it. There's a ton of great pass rushers in this league, there's a ton of great defensive players in this league. ... I'm just simply looking at the literal facts and it still just boggles my mind."
