Titans Emerge as Potential Trade Candidate for Cardinals' Top Pick
It's no secret the Arizona Cardinals are looking to trade the No. 3 pick in the 2023 NFL Draft.
The team is clearly in rebuilding mode after a 4-13 season that saw a new front office and coaching staff. Kyler Murray is still rehabbing his torn ACL, the Cardinals lost J.J. Watt to retirement and their top two free agents in Zach Allen/Byron Murphy - DeAndre Hopkins is on the way out, too.
It feels like it's not a matter of if - but when - the Cardinals decide to deal the pick. A handful of teams picking in the top ten (Indianapolis, Detroit, Las Vegas and Atlanta) are potential suitors for a trade down.
However, there appears to be a new team outside the top ten that is making serious noise to move up.
NFL Draft insider Daniel Jeremiah said on his Move the Sticks podcast the Tennessee Titans are a team to watch.
"Can I give you the team that I have been told to keep an eye on that's exploring this and looking into this? Again, this is just people around the league who said do not sleep on Numero 11. The Tennessee Titans. The two teams to keep an eye on with the trade-ups were the Raiders and the Titans," he said.
The Titans took Malik Willis in the third-round of last year's draft but clearly haven't been to impressed with his talents.
C.J. Stroud and Bryce Young are presumably going to the first and second picks ahead of Arizona, leaving Anthony Richardson and Will Levis as potential picks for a team to trade up and target.
