There's a quarterback competition brewing in the desert, and now we officially have a battle for who will start for the Arizona Cardinals in Week 1.

Kyler Murray will reportedly remain on the PUP list, meaning he'll miss the first four weeks of the season at minimum.

Colt McCoy was considered a strong possibility for the Cardinals to start in the mean time, though he's no longer with the team after Arizona released him.

On the most recent episode of the All Cardinals podcast, we discuss those moves on top of who has the upper-hand between Josh Dobbs and Clayton Tune:

"Just like with every decision, you look at the full body of work. [We] Evaluate our guys, production goes into that and felt like it was the best decision for the team to move forward with the guys that we have in the room to help win us a football game," said Cardinals head coach Jonathan Gannon, who mentioned McCoy handled the news "like a pro".
