The NFL offseason is getting very interesting right no despite the 2023 draft already being long over along with the initial free agency period. However, there are still a number of very talented names on the open market and the one that everybody is keeping their eyes on is DeAndre Hopkins.

Hopkins has been playing all of his cards down to the perfect wire as he never came out directly and told the media that he wanted out of the Arizona Cardinals. Instead, he hopped on a podcast and merely revealed a number of quarterbacks that he would love to play with and worked out his release with team officials.

Now we have been hearing that the 30-year-old star WR will wait at least a month until training camp starts to make his decision for his next team. He will definitely weigh all of his options considering that he is only getting up there in age and doesn't want a repeat of last season.

The Los Angeles Chargers continue to be slated as a favorite to land Hopkins as it is well-known that they are prioritizing as many offensive options as possible for Justin Herbert to work with.

ESPN's Lindsey Thiry was the first to report some new updates about LA's own thoughts on bringing him in.

"Chargers coach Brandon Staley declines to comment on whether they are pursuing free agent WR DeAndre Hopkins, who expressed interest in playing with Justin Herbert, but said he has great respect for Hopkins and that he’s excited about his current group."
