Chargers News: All-Pro Bolt Excited For New Starting QB Easton Stick

Your 5-8 Los Angeles Chargers will be finishing out the rest of their 2023 season with backup quarterback Easton Stick under center.
Star Justin Herbert will miss the remainder of the year due to a fractured index finger.
With the Bolts pretty much out of the playoff hunt, Stick can't do too much damage. If anything, he can show the coaching staff and other teams around the league that he belongs here.
It'll be a challenge since he doesn't have much experience to use, but his teammates have all the confidence in him to succeed. Satr safety Derwin James Jr. spoke about Stick and why he believes in him.
"I have all the confidence in the world. He gives us a great look every week," Derwin James, Jr. said. "When he got in the game, you've seen the throws that he was able to make, some of the plays he was able to make."

This team is going to need to rally around Stick if they want to finish the year on a high note. It's been a tough season for the Bolts, but they are still technically alive in the playoff race.
It's unlikely that they reach the postseason, but weirder things have happened. Stick will be making his debut as the starter on Thursday against the Las Vegas Raiders.
"I have all of the confidence in him," James added. "We're going to be behind him and have his back, as a defense."

This is Stick's chance to make his mark on the league, and he has the support of his teammates. It's his time to shine, and everyone is excited to see what he can do.
