Chargers News: Bolts Announce Multiple Jim Harbaugh Coaching Staff Additions
The Los Angeles Chargers are entering the 2024 season with a brand-new look. The coaching staff has begun to be overhauled, which started with Jim Harbaugh being brought on.
Harbaugh has spent the last two weeks hiring his brand-new staff that will help him lead the team to new heights. The Chargers have officially rolled the list out, which you can see below:
On top of the Chargers bringing in Jesse Minter as DC, his father Rick has also joined the staff as a senior defensive assistant.
One of the newer additions and most exciting is former 49ers linebacker Navarro Bowman as linebackers coach.
Notable additions are Shane Day coming over from the Texans to be quarterbacks coach, Andy Bischoff has left the Giants as their tight ends coach to be the Chargers' run game coordinator and tight ends coach, and Mike Devlin has left the Ravens to become the offensive line coach.
This is not the finalized list of coaches that have been brought on, and we imagine more names will be added soon.
Harbaugh and company have plenty of work to do this offseason, and the coaching staff will need to be finalized so that the team can then focus on free agency and the NFL Draft.
Good times are hopefully ahead for this team and the front office, but time will tell just how effective this new regime is.
