Chargers News: Derwin James' Decision Dilemma with Current QB and Former QB

James has a tough time choosing between his current and former QB

The Los Angeles Chargers are loaded with talent on both sides of the ball, but none may be bigger than their superstar safety Derwin James. 

James is entering his fifth season in the league all with the Bolts, and he's been a revelation for the team. He's developed and gotten better year by year, and we cannot wait till we see him in action next weekend. 

The 27-year-old has had the luxury of two great QBs in his tenure, starting off with potential first ballot Hall of famer Philip Rivers and now with star QB Justin Herbert. 

James appeared on the Bussin' With The Boys podcast and discussed with the hosts on who he would pick and the impact Rivers had on the Chargers and his career.

James went to sing the praises of Rivers and spoke on his impact on the Chargers. 

"Phil is like everything. He was like the coach, the player, the quarterback. Mean, so he kind of did everything. He made all the line checks, you know, they different players like I said."

Rivers spent two seasons with Rivers and will be going on his third with Herbert. He's had the luxury of having two great QBs in his NFL career, and hopefully, he could finish the job with Herbert, unlike his time with Philip. 

Nonetheless, we cannot wait to see James and the defense do their thing this upcoming season while Herbert does his thing with the offense. 

Regardless of who he picks, both have done great things for the organization; the only difference is that Herbert is just getting started.
