Los Angeles Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert is here to stay for the long haul. Herbert and the Chargers agreed to a lucrative deal that is five years worth $262.5 million

This move was long-awaited, and the two sides finally got it done. This was a hot commodity all off-season long, and it has finally been put to bed.

Both sides are happy about the deal, including Chargers superstar safety Derwin James. James took to social media to show his love and congratulate his quarterback.

Herbert and James have been teammates for the past three years, they've been through all the ups and downs as teammates, and it's great to see him show his love and appreciation.

Chargers insider Daniel Popper also informed us that the deal includes $218 million in total guarantees.

Hopefully, we will see James and Herbert terrorizing their opponents together on the same team for years to come.

The 25-year-old deserves the money, and we can't wait to see him ball out this season.

Congratulations, Justin!
