Chargers News: Fans Roast LA-KC Broadcast For Taylor Swift, Travis Kelce Stat

A polarizing topic.

Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce did what he always seems to do against your Los Angeles Chargers in Week 7 of the NFL season, and that's dominate in a 31-17 Kansas City win.

Kelce finished with 12 receptions on 13 targets for an insane 179 yards and a touchdown after he diced Brandon Staley's soft zone defense all afternoon.

The superstar made headlines on the field but CBS' look into his life off the field made some fans uncomfortable during the game's broadcast.

Swift and Kelce made quite the story earlier on in the season and their relationship has everyone from 60-year-old dads to teen girls talking about the seemingly polar opposite worlds.

The two unlikely fanbases have collided in a way that has everyone talking in both good and bad terms.

Some have embraced the changes as the NFL welcomed a brand new audience to the sport but others such as this fan haven't been so inviting.

Coverage around Swift's attendance at Kelce's games is no different than any other trend within the sports social media sphere.

Many social media accounts will post LeBron James in any capacity due to the polarizing nature of both his fanbase and his haters.

More recently the University of Colorado's football team led by Deion Sanders experienced a similar story due to their polarizing factors.

Engagement remains priority number one for each league and company around the athletic sphere and the Swift/Kelce dynamic is the latest in a common trend.

Whether or not you enjoy the ins and outs of their relationship or despise it with every fiber of your being, as long as they're together—they will elicit some form of reaction out of fans.

It's up to the individuals who watch games to either choose to ignore the phenomenon or simply enjoy the show because the NFL or any other league isn't stopping their tricks any time soon.
