Roman last served as the offensive coordinator for the Ravens under Jim Harbaugh's older brother, John Harbaugh. Roman has coached among the top offenses in the league in recent years, including the 2011-2014 49ers alongside Harbaugh and the Baltimore Ravens from 2019-2022.
He's been with Jim since their Stanford days, the 49ers, and he will now join him once again in Los Angeles with the Chargers.
This is a significant pickup for the Bolts, and Harbaugh once again nailed another hire. He's wasted no time building his staff, and the excitement is palpable among the organization and its fans.
Welcome your new offensive coordinator, Greg Roman!
