The Los Angeles Chargers still have a lot of roster decisions to be made before all is said and done. The team has already released wide receiver Mike Williams to help cut costs going forward and they restructured the contract of star defensive edge rusher Khalil Mack.

But there is also the matter of pass rusher Joey Bosa as well. Bosa had been thought to be a potential cap casualty as well, but for now, the Bolts have kept him. However, there is still a chance that they move on from him whether that is by releasing him or trading him.

If they do move him, one team in particular remains very interested. That would be the San Francisco 49ers, who have been searching for more defensive backfield help this offseason.

Bosa's brother Nick plays for the 49ers, so it would be a reunion if he were to end up there. According to Michael Silver of the San Francisco Chronicle, the 49ers remain enticed by Bosa at the right price.

San Francisco landing Bosa would help their pass rush out even more and give the Chargers some relief. He showed that when he is on the field, good things can still happen but injuries have taken their toll.

This could be the perfect time to move on from Bosa, given the regime change that the Chargers are going under. He could still help them, but saving the money from his contract could also allow the Bolts to bring in a more well-rounded roster.

The 49ers would make a good option for Bosa if he were to leave Los Angeles. This will be looked at until a final decision is made, but expect one sooner rather than later in all likelihood.
