The Chargers are looking ahead to the 2023 season with major expectations and goals to meet. This is a team that has put together a very talented roster in order to compete for a championship this season, so it's important that all players involved are working towards the same goal.

Recently they had almost their entire roster at the mandatory minicamp. The other players that weren't out on the field were rehabbing from injuries. This is the mindset that the team needs. But there are still some questions to be answered on certain players. Senior Writer Eric Smith of Chargers.com recently did a mailbag article and was asked about the status of wide receiver Joshua Palmer.

"Palmer is expected to be out there for camp and will be a big piece in a stacked wide receiver room."

Per Chargers.com

Palmer will be a big piece for the Chargers this coming season. He will give them major depth at the wide receiver position, so it's important that he is healthy to begin all their off-season programs. Head coach Brandon Staley was asked about Palmer and echoed the same sentiment.

"If any of our guys aren't out there, it's just for something minor in nature," Staley said. "You'll get to see him at training camp."

Per Chargers.com

In his first two seasons in the NFL, Palmer has posted 105 receptions for 1,122 yards and seven touchdowns. He has established a nice rhythm with quarterback Justin Herbert and will be looking to have another solid season coming up.

LA needs players like this to step up if they really want to take that next step from playoff team to Super Bowl squad.
