The Los Angeles Chargers were the talk of the NFL when they blew a 27-point lead in the AFC Wild Card game against the Jacksonville Jaguars. It was the most embarrassing loss in franchise history and was the third biggest come-from-beyond victory in playoff history.

It left a sour taste in the fans, organizations, and players' mouths. Nonetheless, all that is behind the team, including Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert. Although every Charger fan wants to forget that, Herbert is embracing it and making sure something like that never happens again.

The 25-year-old sat down with ESPN and said last season's failure will take LA over the top this season.

"The way last season ended will propel us this year. And you think a lot about it last year, and it didn't go our way. I think it'd be really easy to kind of just cover it up and move on past it. For Coach to go up there and say, hey, this is what happened, and as difficult as it is to kind of talk about and move on past, you have to address it. You have to learn from it. And there's nothing that we can do now to change it. As difficult and as frustrating as it was, we're going to be better because of it."

It was the lowest of the low for the franchise, but this season is as good as any to turn those wrongs into rights.

LA has all the tools to get it done, including their 262.5 million dollar man. No time is as good as now, and the Chargers will tackle it head-on.

The pressure is at an all-time high. Will the Chargers charger it up or crush that narrative?

We'll find out soon enough.
