Chargers News: Kellen Moore Eager to Gauge Offense in Preseason Opener

Tomorrow is the day, Charger fans. Your Bolts will finally see the gridiron for their first preseason game against the Los Angeles Rams.
The game won't mean much as starters won't be participating, and it's just an exhibition game; however, don't tell that to the coaches. This will be the first time mass fans will get their first look at the new high-powered offesne led by offensive coordinator Kellen Moore.
Moore is set to lead the offense to new heights, and although most of his weapons won't be out there on Saturday night, he's looking forward to seeing how his offense plays out.
"No. 1 is operation, just a clean operation and that our guys are on the same page, communicating really well," Moore said. "Certainly, as preseason games progress, a lot of the younger guys will get a lot of opportunities.
"We're really excited about those guys, just getting a chance to go play free, play football, trust yourself — you're here for a reason — and go for it," Moore added.

Moore's offense has been one of the many bright spots during training camp, so it'll be exciting to see how it'll translate against opposing defenses.
The expectations are high, but remember, the team we will see tomorrow is not what we'll see by next month. There will be no Justin Herbert, Austin Ekeler, Keenan Allen, Mike Williams, and the offensive line.
Don't exaggerate to what will happen tomorrow; the main thing is guys get out healthy, and the offense looks good with the guys that will be out there.
Nonetheless, it will be exciting to get Charger football back.
