The NFL Draft is officially over, and your Los Angeles Chargers filled needs in their roster. They got young, explosive weapons on offesne and defenders who are sure to propel the defense as a whole.

The Bolts had seven picks, and they decided to use their last choice on TCU QB Max Duggan with the 239th overall pick in the seventh round. In their previous six picks, the Chargers used it on two other TCU prospects, their first-round selection WR Quentin Johnston and WR Derius Davis in the fourth round. The seven-round pick finds himself surrounded by two of his college teammates, and he couldn't be more excited about that, as he told Chargers insider Lindsey Thiry

"There's a lot of excitement," Duggan said from his home in Iowa about joining the Chargers. "Throughout this process, I feel like I built a lot of good relationships with all of the coaches on the coaching staff and really built up and connected with them in that way. Obviously, you see Q and DD go earlier and there was a lot of excitement to be a part of this franchise."

Both receivers had great success with Duggan, and it's nice to see a familiar face in Los Angeles. Although Duggan won't be used as much because of Justin Herbert, he's no slouch. The 22-year-old had an outstanding senior season as he was the Heisman runner-up in 2022, and led his team to the National Championship game while throwing for 3,698 passing yards, a 64% completion rating, and 32 touchdowns for the Horned Frogs.

43% of the Chargers selections were from TCU, and after one of the best seasons TCU has ever had, you can't blame them for going that direction.

Let's hope they translate well to the NFL and help out the Bolts in a big way.
