The Los Angeles Chargers have had some gaps on their defensive line since last season and have yet to seriously address them in free agency. Majority of their top options are off of the market now mainly due to them not having the most cap space to work and looking ahead to some big, future extensions.

However, the trade market on the other hand may be offering a solution for them. LA has been linked as a top target for Devin White after he requested a trade from the Tamp Bay Buccaneers. It would make a lot of sense for both sides as they are looking for new culture.

But White is apparently looking to get a nice payday this offseason. He has one year left on his contract and is set to make $11 million. Reports have now surfaced that he wants $18-$20 million from his next team.

This new update probably makes the Bolts much less aggressive in their pursuits for White as this money he wants is something they cannot afford realistically. They will already part ways with draft compensation and a key player of their own if they to trade for White.

His skill at his position is very clear as he was able to help the Bucs win a Super Bowl  and has been an All-Pro in the past. White may not have reached his full potential either as he is just 25-years-old.

But they shouldn't play dangerous games with their payroll either due to the extensions they've already made and will have to make soon.
