Football season is upon us, and by the time we know it, your Los Angeles Chargers will be out there taking on the Miami Dolphins when the games count. However, before we get into the nitty-gritty of things, the coaching staff and players must figure out how they'll fit in and what their roles will look like.

Many of the veteran guys know their roles, so it'll be more on the fringe guys and rookies to find a role on the team. One of the rookies who will have a spot is the Chargers first-round pick, Quentin Johnston. By all indications, Johnston is set to be the WR3 behind veterans Keenan Allen and Mike Williams.

There won't be too much on Johnston's plate because of the guys in front of him, but there is still a ton of expecations for the young guy. So, the question is if he will fill those shoes and take the Bolts to the next step. CBS Sports writer Tyler Sullivan analyzed each AFC West team and questioned if Johnston could complement his fellow wide receivers.

L.A. used its first-round pick on TCU wideout Quentin Johnston, and there's plenty of hype that he'll be able to help take this offense to an even higher level. The 6-foot-3, 208-pounder has nice size and could be a boundary option for Justin Herbert after totaling 1,069 yards and six touchdowns during his final collegiate season. Now, it's a question of whether Johnston can immediately slot into this offense and be a key contributor alongside

and Keenan Allen.

If Johnston could play his role and complement his fellow wide receivers, this offense under Kellen Moore will be a scary sight for defenses.

It's uncertain how exactly Johnston will look in the offense, but he has the potential to play a significant role, especially if guys miss time for whatever reason.

We cannot wait to see Johnston out on the field and see how he gels with his teammates and QB Justin Herbert.
