Chargers News: Rumored LA Star Target Expresses Desire to Play with DeAndre Hopkins
Even though we have a little over a month to go before the Los Angeles Chargers begin their 2023 training camp, it's going to be very interesting to see where some of the top free agents available end up signing before them. Your Bolts have been linked to a number of them and after what we saw from our own guys in OTA's, any more talent could take them over the top.
Safety is a position I think they'll address very soon... whether they finally bring in John Johnson III or maybe commit to one of their undrafted options and gave him an actual roster spot. But where else could they look to make any additions or even upgrades?
Dalvin Cook is someone who has entered these conversations over the past couple of weeks, especially when he was officially released from the Minnesota Vikings. 27-years-old with six seasons of NFL experience under his belt will make him highly sought after during these next weeks and considering that he just clocked his fourth straight year with over 1,000 yards recorded, he is is a very serviceable RB.
But Cook may have just gave some insight about where he wants to play next or should I say who he wants to play with next. DeAndre Hopkins, five-time All-Pro WR, is also looking for a new home at the moment following his own release from the Arizona Cardinals. Well, he is someone who was mentioned by Cook recently that he wants to play with.
"If we end up on the same roster, that would be something epic for the NFL."

If this duo was to actually happen this year, it most likely would not happen on the Los Angeles Chargers due to cap space complications and the fact that they already have a number of offensive options.Â
However, do not rule out one of them ending up in LA... we will be sure to keep you guys posted!
